Who We Are and What We Do
The purpose of the Potentials Editorial Board is to provide undergraduate and graduate students who are members of IEEE with an IEEE publication to address global issues, career development topics, business issues, essays, opinions, and other topics, emphasizing the value of continuing IEEE membership after graduation. These are members of IEEE with an interest in the IEEE designated fields, including engineering, computing and information technology, physical and life sciences, or related professions. IEEE benefits and services provide them with opportunities for educational, technical, and professional development.
Oversight of the editorial content in IEEE Potentials magazine is managed by an editorial board of volunteer members. The board is led by an Editor in Chief (EIC), who reviews each issue, and includes six Associate Editors and Corresponding Editors who assist in the solicitation of articles and a Student Editor to represent the student voice of IEEE.
